AML & KYC Policy

Objectives

• Prevent illegal activity and protect the integrity of our platform.
• Ensure compliance with Indian and international AML/KYC standards.
• Detect and report suspicious activity to relevant authorities.

Customer Identification & Verification

• Government‑issued ID (Aadhaar/PAN/Passport) and selfie verification.
• Proof of address and bank account details (must match KYC name) where required.
• Additional information may be requested based on risk assessment.

Sanctions & PEP Screening

We screen users against UN/EU/UK/US OFAC sanctions and PEP databases at onboarding and periodically. If a match is found, we may suspend the account and notify authorities as required.

Compliance Officer

An AML Compliance Officer oversees policy enforcement, transaction monitoring, and regulatory interactions, and may request additional verification or freeze accounts when necessary.

Risk Assessment & Monitoring

• Risk‑based classification of users (Low/Medium/High) based on activity and other factors.
• Automated and manual monitoring for unusual or high‑value transactions.
• Suspicious activity is investigated and may be reported to FIU‑IND or other authorities.

Record‑Keeping

We retain KYC and transaction records for at least 5 years in line with regulatory requirements and may share records with authorities when legally required.

Employee Due Diligence & Anti‑Bribery

We conduct employee background checks and ongoing AML training. Bribery and corruption are strictly prohibited and may result in termination and legal action.

Compliance

We align with Indian PMLA, FIU‑IND regulations, and FATF standards. Non‑compliance may lead to account suspension or legal action.
